All is well in the Red Head City until a non-red haired stranger shows up. The stranger's fate is then decided by the audience, where themes of equality and racism are explored. The Waterfront is delighted to collaborate with the Key West Children's Theatre Company continuing their mission of promoting other local performing art's groups. The production is sponsored by the Dogwood Foundation and Suzie and Nick Trivisonno, allowing the WFPH to keep ticket prices very family-friendly.

The Lodging Association’s Annual Trade Show & Hospitality Expo took place on Thursday November, 15th 2007 at the newly opened Beachside Resort & Conference Center in Beautiful Key West, Florida. Open from 11:00am to 3:30pm & Free to everyone in the Lodging, Hospitality & Business Community, the show was a huge success! We had well over 200 attendees wandering the show floor throughout the day. With 47 exhibitors offering a vast range of products and services for the industry there certainly was a lot to see!

Spanish Rhapsody: Vocalist Melody Cooper presents an evening of classical and popular music from Spain, Argentina, Brazil and Cuba. It will be a journey of passionate stories, hot rhythms, and beautiful melodies inspired by her recent experience studying music in Madrid and her lifelong love of Latin American music. Joining Melody will be classical virtuoso Sergio Puig at the piano and the popular Key West salsa trio Caribe (Rolando Rojas, Jose Rodriguez and Roy Chavez). This concert is being presented in conjunction with Professor Emily Lowe's vocal studio at the Florida Keys Community College and made possible in part by the Anne McKee Artists Fund.

The Waterfront Playhouse kicks off the exciting 69th season with another fabulous concert. ENCORE! will feature over 20 of Key West's finest singers performing great numbers from hit shows from all of the KW stages. Both evenings will include post-performance catered parties. Guest Musical Director will be Robert Strickland with Skipper Kripitz and Joe Dallas. NOT TO BE MISSED!

Performers that are scheduled to appear are: David Black, Laurie Breakwell, Melody Cooper, Marc Crow, Joy Hawkins, Mary Falconer, Penny Leto, Michael McCabe, Bruce Moore, Mike Mulligan, Bobby Nesbitt, Marjorie Paul-Shook, Christopher Peterson, Randy Roberts, Carmen Rodriguez, Gordon Ross, Vicki Roush, Dean Walters, Danny Weathers John Wells, Henry Woods and Scott Zimmerman.

The Musical Director will be the brilliant pianist Robert Strickland from Atlanta, with Joe Dallas on bass and Skipper Kriptiz on percussion.

The concert will include showstopping numbers from the following shows: Sweet Charity, A Chorus Line, Gypsy, Jacques Brel, Showtune - the Music of Jerry Herman, Olympus On My Mind, Fiddler On The Roof, Follies, Urinetown, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, Pippin, My Fair Lady, Kiss Me Kate, Aspects of Love, Company, The Most Happy Fella, City of Angels, Sunday In The Park With George, and Much More!

After the Race: Awards ceremony to take place at the Hog's Breath Saloon. Lots of prizes to be raffled, and of course...free beer!
