Prior to show, Theo and Ganine from Theo & Ganine's Dance Center located in Marathon, FL will instruct swing dance lessons 7:00pm-8:00pm. Everyone is invited to join in lessons.Theo and Ganine have been recognized as Top Teachers in America for the last four years. Ganine has performed in Broadway Shows and as a Radio City Rockette, and Theo owned the original Fred Astaire Dance Studio on Broadway.

Each six member team must build a boat seaworthy enough to stay afloat for the entire race course in the Key West Bight in front of Schooner Wharf. The catch---the boats are made of plywood, fasteners, duct tape, and 2' x 4's.
